Form and Funktion is an “in your face, up on your feet, mind blowing, make you want to dance” band of accomplished musicians. Members: Paul Blakemore, Jason Stegall, Eric Avant, and John Sebranek combine an electric mix of powerhouse vocals, soaring instrumental solos and infectious dance rhythms to inspire audience members to clap their hands, tap their feet, sing, shout, and pack the dance floor! The group, originally dubbed “Four Man Function” has thrilled the central Missouri area since 2003. Its musical style incorporates elements of Rock, Jazz, blues, Country, Disco, Reggae and a large portion of Funk. The unique blend of musical elements stem from the varied experiences of the individual members with such groups as: Squiggle Fish, Fat Tuesday Band, Blue Voodoo, Earthbound, and Jazz Du Jour. This rich combination of talent and experience is blended to create a complete entertainment package with members who are as likely to perform within the audience as they are on the stage! Crowd participation and an infectious good time is what you can expect when Form and Funktion is in the house! |
